Does your prenatal have folic acid or Folate?

If you're pregnant or planning a pregnancy I want you to go get your prenatal vitamin and check out the ingredient list.
Does your prenatal have folic acid or Folate? I sure hope you say FOLATE. 😊
Here's why.
FOLIC acid is SYNTHETIC. FOLATE is BEST!
...
Folate aids in the complete development of red blood cells, reduces levels of homocysteine in the blood, and supports nervous system function. It is well known for its role in preventing neural tube defects in newborns, so women of childbearing age must be sure to have an adequate intake prior to and during pregnancy.
Make sure to check your multivitamin, because most multis contain Folic acid and not Folate! I happen to know of an AMAZING multivitamin that is fully methylated made with Folate AND aloe (which allows for up to 400% increased nutrient absorption!)
